02.06Band Trader: Garageband Rockers from Brazil
Band Trader or “Banda Trader” are getting a great reputation for solid alternative rock live performances in Brazil. To bring that energy on to CD they use Garageband.

Band member Carlos explains the process: “We record the drum track, followed by the bass and, after that, when think that everything is synchronized we record the guitars. Since our style is a mix of blues, rock and alternative, we usually have many guitar tracks: the first the bass, the second with some details, another track for distortion and the last one for the solo.
They are enthusiastic about the new guitar amps effects in Garageband ‘09 as well as the more intuitive interface.
Have a listen to their albums at Last.fm – (I liked the track Baby’s Attack.)
